I have a Kubota 4310 and have never had a problem with the tractor, but recently I noticed the glow plug light on the dash stays on after the tractor is cranked, and once or twice the light has come on while the tractor running, but it goes out after a while. anyone had this happen or any idea of the cause or cure for this.

Sometimes my key doesn't click off all the way after I let go when starting. I just wiggle the key and the light goes off. ....

Verify was is causing this as it could be a faulty glow plug relay causing the glow plugs to come on. If left on for long enough, it will eventually burn out one of more of the glow plugs. ....

how do you check to see if it is a faulty relay or a faulty light, the light will come on and then go off for a while and then come back on again, I can live with a faulty light but if the glow plugs are being heated I need to correct that ....

is it a risk to the glow lights or is it a problem with the light just coming on or is the glow plugs actually on - how do you tell ....
